The Bridge Climb

The BRIDGECLIMB experience is available every day of the year, with the exception of December 25th and December 30th & 31st when New Years Eve fireworks are installed on to the Bridge.

Generally, Day Climbs depart every 10 minutes from 8:05am, with Night Climbs currently departing every 10 minutes from 5:45pm. A maximum of 12 people climb in any one group. You need to book 1 week in advance for a weekday or 4 weeks in advance for a weekend or peak period Climb. Prices are as follows (with concession tickets for 12-16 year olds only):

Adult Midweek Day Climb: $125.00 pp

Adult Weekend/Peak Day Climb: $150.00 pp

Children under 12 are not permitted to climb, and you may be asked for proof of age for all children. Children 12-16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, with a limit of two children per adult.

You should arrive at 5 Cumberland Street, The Rocks about 15 minutes prior to the climb time, to check in and collect your tickets. You should take your Reservation ID (which will be given once you have a booking) along with you.

All Climbers are required to wear non-slip, fully enclosed, rubber-soled shoes and comfortable clothing that is not bulky, as you will be fitted with a BridgeSuit.

Upon arrival, you will be given a breath test for alcohol (you must be under 0.05% to participate in the Climb). Climbers may not take any items onto the Bridge for safety reasons (you must pass a metal detector test) and you will be asked to sign an indemnity form to state that you are fit and healthy enough to climb.

Climbing takes place in all weather conditions except electrical storms. If it rains, you will be provided with protective clothing.

After the Climb, you will receive a complimentary photograph of the group on the Bridge and you will be given the opportunity to purchase any other photos that are taken of you along the way by the Climb Leader, who carries a digital camera. You will also receive a certificate of achievement, along with complimentary entry to the Pylon Lookout and Exhibition.

The whole experience will last 3 hours.
